Cool Weather is Blowing In!

  • Know where your home’s master shutoff valve is before a emergency occurs.
  • Keep both hot and cold faucets on a slow drip to prevent freezing.
  • All exterior spigots should be properly wrapped with insulation.
  • As the ice thaws check the attic for leaks that may have formed.
  • If your pipes do freeze or bust take action immediately by thawing them and remove any water to prevent further damage to your home.

Car Safety

If you find your car covered in ice you can defrost the windshield safely by turning on your cars heater and scraping the ice with a soft plastic such as a old gift card. Do Not use hot or warm water as this can cause your windshield to break!
